SORN offers two $750 scholarships, sponsored by , Akorn/Metico, to its members each year. Individuals wishing to apply for the scholarships must submit a completed application form (available from ASORN headquarters). The recipients of the scholarships are to use the funds for furthering their education in a degree program. Although ASORN does not require that the scholarship recipients apply the funds to courses or work toward a degree in nursing, applicants who are pursuing a degree in nursing will receive additional consideration.
