In Memoriam

The Journal of Financial Stability must sadly report the loss of a beloved Associate Editor, Paul Evans. Paul was a brilliant academic. From his roots at MIT and Chicago to his significant research in finance and economics, Paul was an intellectual titan who was also generous of his time and humble about his accomplishments. His work has left a substantial impression on the discipline, on his colleagues, and on his students at Stanford University, University of Houston, and Ohio State University, where he taught during his career. The discipline has lost a brilliant mind. Paul’s family has lost a husband, father, and brother. OSU has lost an esteemed professor, a trusted advisor, a dedicated editor, and a pillar of the economics program. Paul’s students have lost a compassionate mentor. The Editors of the Journal of Financial Stability thank Paul for his years of service. This issue of the Journal of Financial Stability is dedicated to our dear friend and colleague, Paul Evans.
