Peer review report 1 on “Diagnostic and therapeutic role of endoscopic retrograde pancreatography in the management of traumatic pancreatic duct injury patients: Single center experience for 34 years” 1. Original Submission 1.1. Recommendation Minor Revision 1.2. Comments to the author The Authors performed a really interesting analysis about role of endoscopic retrograde pancreatography in the management of traumatic pancreatic duct injury patients. Notwithstanding some limits ( the retrospective manner of the study), the paper was well written and interesting in all its field demonstrating a remarkable surgical experience in the treatment of pancreatic injury, a not so common pathology. In my opinion there are many differences in the surgical and survival outcomes between derivative procedures and duct occlusion in the management of pancreatic stump after pancreatectomy. In order to better analyse this topic I suggest to consider the papers:
