Original submission [H2]Recommendation Minor Revision.
3. Did any patients have rectal perforation during dissection, and if so was rectal perforation a risk factor to perineal wound infection? 4. The study span across 22 years. Was there a difference in wound infection rate throughout these 12 years? 5. What was the extent of the APR, any cases of extralevator APR? 6. Were T4 diseases excluded?
Comments to the author The study was well designed and presented. A few questions: 1. Do all patients had mechanical bowel preparation? What's the rationale behind? 2. What's the postoperative antibiotic regime?
