Peer Review Report
Peer review report 4 on “Spontaneous Temporomandibular Joint Herniation into the External Auditory Canal through a Patent Foramen of Huschke: A Case Report” 1. Original Submission 1.1. Recommendation
Is there a recurrence rate after surgery. The authors make a pint of the bony dehiscence, but the TMJ lies adjacent to the cartilaginous canal - can the author exemplify on this point?
Accept 1.2. Comments to the author This is a rare anatomical problem but important enough to be published to raise awareness of the condition. The ages are very explanatory and of good quality. Is the condition ever bilateral or is there a familial tendency?
