These two further volumes, reporting the annual conferences on industrial waste held at Purdue University in 1976 and 1977, contain much that will be of considerable interest to all those concerned with industrial wastes. The two volumes contain more than 200 original contributions.

Price: £12.60(lst), £14-20 (2nd). These two volumes include the proceedings of conferences sponsored by the National Sanitation Foundation. That for the 1974 conference did not appear until late 1977, but the proceedings of the fourth conference, held in 1977, were published soon after. The twenty or more papers in each volume are aimed at regulatory officials, manufacturers, planners and operators.
