Pergamon Journals Ltd. and the Editors of this Journal are happy to announce that the article entitled Operational Specificity.. Implications for Field-Based Replicatioru by Kristine Renek Derer of Honolulu, Hawaii, which appeared in Volume 16. Number 1, pp. 9-14. has been selected for the 1984 Journal Article Award. The award recognizes the outstanding article received for publication during the 19S-l calendar year by an author 35 years of age or under. The award of $500.00 and a Certificate of Merit will be sent to the author by Pergamon Journals Ltd. The award for manuscripts received and accepted durin g the 1985 calendar year will be announced in a forthcoming issue.
