"PERSPECTIVES ON SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY" A very interesting collection of papers on school psychology appears in a recent publication from the University of Texas. The papers were presented at a colloquium held during Spring Semester, 1966 under the sponsorship of the Department of Educational Psychology and th,e leadership of Beeman N. Phillips. Among the contributions are the following: 'School Psychology and the Education Revolution," (Mary Alice White); "The Role of the Psychoeducational Clinic in the Elementary Schools" (Seymour B, Sarason); "School Psychology and Educational Research: Archetype or Anathema?" LECTURE SERIES IN SPECIAL EDUCATION The Fifth Annual Distinguished Lecture Series in Special Eduaction was held during the 1966 Summer Session of the University of Southern California. Among the papers presented were: "Headstart on Headstart: A Thirty Year Evaluation," by Harold M. Skeels; "Language Research in Relationship to the Mentally Retarded and the Culturally Deprived," by Melvyn Semmel; and "Disabilities: Categories in Special Education, How We Got Them and What Can be Done about Them," by Francis E. Lord.
