pH/REDOX Solution Control

Paul N. Gardner's IQ200 is a pH meter with an unbreakable stainless steel probe that stores dry. There is no glass to break and no electrode storage solution is required. Features include automatic temperature compensation; temperature display in °C or °F; and a stainless steel three-in-one probe with built-in reference, temperature sensor, and solid-state pH sensor.
The DP/DR 5000 Series of I_,MIcontrollers offers stateof-the-art pH/REDOX solution control. This microprocessor-based instrument comes standard with a large custom screen display; 120/220 VAC select switch; NEMA 4X flame-retardant, chemical-resistant housing; and designated keys (for pumps, alarms, calibration, and timers). There are five output relays and two optocoupler outputs. The five relays are for high and low alarm, pump #1 and #2, with the fifth for controlling a dumping solenoid valve. This fifth relay output makes the unit very suitable for batch process applications. The pump outputs may be controlled by either relays (on/off) or optocouplers (pulse).

Simplicity of operation and accuracy of +1% of reading make the Ultrameter useful for many applications including effluent testing, boilers, cooling towers, reverse osmosis/deionization water treatment systems, and on-line controller calibration. To maximize durability, all sensing electrodes are built into the rugged case. Additional features include four-digit LCD for full 9999 laS/ppm readings with capability up to 100 pS/75 ppt; memory for storing 20 readings; user programmable automatic temperature compensation and conductivity/TDS ratio; display prompts for simple pH calibration; and factory calibrations stored in the microprocessor.

Digital pH Controller and Recorder Analytical Measurements Hillside, N.J. Analytical Measurements' InLine System provides complete treatment of wastewater pH or ORP without manual intervention. The instrument consists of a microprocessorbased indicator controller, which is activated by an upstream probe at the beginning of the waste stream; a controller/regulator module, which activates pumps for the addition of acid and/or alkaline materials; and a graphic recorder, which is driven by a downstream probe to provide a continuous running record of the effluent. The InLine is easy to use and set up, and provides an excellent choice of process control options and features.
