56 1095. Thin film deposition by solution spraying. (U.S.A.) The National Cash Register Co. of Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A., has developed an aqueous spraying method for large area deposition as well as continuous deposition on belt type substrates. Details are not given but electroluminiscent, photoiumineseent, photoconducting cathodoluminescent and photovoltaic phenomena have been demonstrated in films applied this technique. It is claimed that the capital outlay is relatively small, since no vacuum equipment is used. (U.S,A.). w.J.s. Anon, Chem. & Engng.
