GENERAL INFORMATION Pinaverium bromide is an anticholinergic drug [1].

ORGANS AND SYSTEMS Gastrointestinal Like emepronium bromide, pinaverium bromide can cause inflammation and ulceration in the mouth and esophagus [2–5]. In a series of 5900 endoscopies over 32 months, esophageal ulcers were seen in one case after ingestion of pinaverium bromide [6].
