Polycube range from solids technology
Pleated panel filter design from AAF International has announced the introduction of the AmAir’@ 62 Plus pleated panel filter design. The filter has been designed to exceed the standard for minimum efficiency defined in ASHRAE 62-1989R, and has been tested in accordance with proposed test standard ASHRAE 52.2P. The test establishes the filter as a MER 8, with an efficiency well in excess of the proposed requirement of 60% efficiency on 3 pm particles
The patent pending design of the AmAir@ 62 Plus makes increased efficiency possible with a minimal increase in resistance. A thin layer of melt-blown polypropylene laminate has been combined with a layer of high-loft cotton polyester in a novel media design. The filter is available with Intersep@ antimicrobial, which preserves the integrity of the filter media by inhibiting the growth of microorganisms. As with all AAF pleated filters, it has a unitized,
double-wall, beverage the media
die cut box, board frame and pack is bonded
inside the frame at ali points of contact. The AmAir@ 62 Plus may be used as a final filter or, in multi-filter systems, as a pre-filter to extend the service life of higher efficiency filters. In single filter bank systems, it provides instant compliance with the proposed standard for minimum filtration efficiency specified in 62-1989R.

PolyCube Range from Solids Technology Solids Technology has just launched its PolyCube range of automatic polyelectrolyte preparation and dosing systems on the international market. Features of the equipment include: flexibility and control over dosing rates and application strengths leading to savings in polyelectrolyte usage; a totally enclosed unit to eliminate potentially hazardous and costly spillages; option of liquid, powder (or both) type polymers; high intensity mixing; guaranteed ageing times; and one-piece stainiess steel construction.
