MIT. From 1946 to date he has been a member of Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he has been involved in scintillation counter studies, low energy nuclear physics, and since 1957 in plasma physics. George G Kelley served with the US Navy during the war doing radar work. After the war he graduated from California Institute of Technology with a BS in physics and went directly to Oak Ridge where he has been a member of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory staff ever since. He has done work in nuclear instrumentation and scintillation spectrometry. Presently he is engaged in research in plasma physics.
