Preview: Composites & Polycon 2009 The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA)’s annual convention and exhibition takes place on 15–17 January 2009, in Tampa, Florida, USA. We take a look at some of the exhibits on display.

T

he ACMA traditionally holds its annual trade show in October, but following feedback from exhibitors at the 2007 event about shows running at similar times, the ACMA announced a change of date to January. The format for the event remains the same however. The ACMA expects around 200 exhibitors and 3500 delegates, live technical demonstrations, over 75 educational presentations and technical papers, and the Awards for Composites Excellence (ACE) product showcase.
