The three-pronged purpose of the public meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee to Develop a Test of Fluency is to (1) report on the development status of a fluency test for the IFA, (2) review the pertinent literature, and (3) conduct a "reality check" for plans of the committee to find empirical support for, or guidance to, the further test development process. Importantly, the meeting will be an opportunity for the membership to speak out on this project and provide feedback on planned investigations that are likely to involve members of the IFA as participating subjects.
