A state-of-the-art report consisting of 15 papers dealing with the geology of Proterozoic (ca. 1800 Ma) mobile belts of west and southeast Greenland. Presented are the latest results originated from fieldwork carried out by Aarhus University, Denmark, and Liverpool University, U.K., in cooperation with the Geological Survey of Greenland.

Proceedings of a Symposium held at the University of British Columbia, 5--6 June 1979.
