T S a m p l e s o f all wrought gold wire al loys certified to the Research Commission o f the American Dental Association by the various manufacturers were procured in the open market by the Research Com mission and tested by the American Den tal Association Research Associates at the
National Bureau o f Standards. The fol lowing list o f wrought gold wire al loys was found to comply with Amer ican Dental Association Specification No. 7. Certified alloys which did not comply are omitted from this list.

A t the annual meeting of the Amer ican D ental Association held in San Francisco, Calif., July 13-17, 1936, an appropriation in the amount o f $13,000 was given to the Research Commission to cover grants and administrative expenses for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1936 and ending June 30, 1937. In addition, w e have a specific fund o f $750 allocated
