The authors wrote: “Mouse MMP-26 gene has not been found in Gene Bank and the full length of MMP-26 cDNA has not been cloned so far, we cannot exclude the possibility that the hybridization signals in the mouse uteri were probably nonspecific, and this will be investigated in our future studies”.
