Divine Brothers Satin Master Flap Brushes are the ideal choice in nonwoven abrasives. Used wet or dry, they replace buffing and the use of compound and result in a superior and consistent satin finish. Satin Master offers controlled removal of stock and sur· face preparation. Abrasive particles are bonded to a fiber and spun against the surface at various speeds producing a finishing action. A new abrasive surface is exposed as fibers break away giving a consistent unifonn scratch pattern finish. Satin Master Flap Brushes are designed for use on automatic and semiautomatic machinery. Grits vary from ultra fine to coarse in aluminum oxide and silicon carbide. Satin Master is available in a wide variety of diam• eters from ¥.!- to 4O-in. wide in 4- to 16-in. diameters.
Sillem S.p.a. introduces the new flexible mul• tiaxis working robot #267 buffing head used for internal and external buffing. The unique 180· axis allows buffing of multiple surfaces in one set-up. This feature also allows buff change away from the working area. It can be used as a stand-alone unit with one work-carrying spindle or placed around a rotary table system. Applica• tions include cookware, cylinders, wheels, fau• cet-related items, and more.
