Greco Brothers’ wastewater recyclers close the loop in mass-finishing operations, removing impurities from the waste stream and returning only compound and water to the finishing equipment. These units can be operated as a batch system, or they can be connected directly to the finishing equipment and configured to operate continuously and automatically. Systems are portable and self-contained, including a stainless steel holding tank, particle filtration membrane, ultrafiltration system, and automatic level controls. These centrifugal barrel machines come with the following standard features: 208/230 V, locking doors, four individual polyurethane-lined barrels, and heavyduty bearings and chassis (to accommodate steel ball burnishing). To customize your machine, pick from these optional features: variable speed, 460 or 380 V, twosided or two-compartment barrels, and parts/media separator (screen) with optional semiautomated media return.
Ultramatic Equipment Co. has developed a round bowl vibratory finishing machine with a processing capacity of 5 ft3. The new SVBJ model features an increased channel width of 12l/2 in. and channel depth of 11 in., allowing a variety of part sizes to be processed. Another improvement is the new “self-locking” internal separation ramp, which directs parts onto the screen deck for separation from ceramic or plastic media. The ease of operation and comfortable operator working height makes the SVBJ popular in manufacturing work cells.
