The lubricant in the bladder (35) is subjected to the down-hole pressure via port (41). The mechanical seal (53) protects the lubricant from the well bore fluids with secondary seal (67) acting as a back-up seal. The procedure for filling the bellows with oil is thoroughly covered. Patent number: WO/2007/075781 Inventors: L.J. Parmeter and C.F.Hall Publication date: 5 July 2007
The seal section of a down hole pump with a pressure compensating bellows.
Safety seal for closing receptacles of various closing diameters Applicants/Inventors: P.M. Laciga, F. Bircher and T. Weiermann, Switzerland A safety seal for closing receptacles with a tapered opening neck of various diameters and designs is described. The seal is designed to be reusable and is intended for use on sports drink bottles and other preparations that may be used by an athlete.
