European Patent Office e patent information training The European Patent Office offers training on various aspects of the patent system. Training on patent information and the tools made available to the users is offered as face-to-face classroom training, as live online webinar (www.epo.org/vc) as well as through self-paced e-learning modules (www.epo.org/e-learning). The scope ranges from short presentations to 4-day seminars on patent searching for beginners and advanced users, live online courses on various EPO products, to introductory e-learning modules such as the “Patent Information Tour” (www.epo.org/pitour), the Espacenet Assistant (www.epo.org/espacenet-assistant) or the new European Patent Register Assistant (www.epo.org/ register-assistant). All public e-learning offers, including the webinars, are free of charge. The webinars include the “monthly online patent information newsflash” bringing to you the latest news and updates on patent information related topics. 2.2. Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property The Center is located in Concord, New Hampshire, USA and is part of the University of New Hampshire School of Law. The Basic Patent Information course consists of seven modules.
