THE SECOND SYMPOSIUM ON COMPUTER-AIDED SEISMIC ANALYSIS AND DISCRIMINATION 20-21 August, 1981, Southeastern Massachusetts University, North Dartmouth, Massachusetts
CALL FOR PAPERS
In light of the growing interest in Computer-aided methods for seismic signal analysis and discrimination and the success of the first Symposium held in 1977, we have decided to hold a second one in 1981. Papers in all aspects of computer-aided seismic analysis and discrimination are invited and solicited, including mathematical methods, computer study and computer systems, etc. for seismic analysis and discrimination. Special sessions on non-Gaussian signal processing and high-resolution spectral analysis are planned for the Symposium. Symposium Proceedings will be published. Deadline for receiving the title and a 500-word summary of the submitted paper is 15 May 1981. Authors will be notified of acceptance by 1 June 1981. The Symposium will be sponsored by the Electrical Engineering Department of Southeastern Massachusetts University, IEEE Computer Society, and IEEE Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing Society. For further information and for submitting a paper, please contact the Symposium Chairman at the following address : Professor C. H. Chen, Electrical Engineering Department, Southeastern Massachusetts University, North Dartmouth, MA 02747, U.S.A. Tel. (617) 999-8475.
