TECHNICAL SOCIETIES , ANNUAL MEETINGS , AND SYMPOSI A The most active technical society in electronic document management is the Association for Information and Image Management (AHM). AHM holds an annual meeting featuring technical sessions, tutorials, panel discussions, and a major hardware and software exhibit. This annual meeting is the best single source available for staying up-to-date in the latest technology and products. AHM also holds periodic smaller meetings and symposia on a variety of topics. The Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE) holds various technical conferences throughout the year.
