3ata has released the Sata Jet RP, a spray gun that offers a compromise between HVLP technol~gy and conventional high-pressure spray guns. I’his new spray gun features a moderate reduction in inlet air pressure. While not being HVLP compliant, the Jet RP still provides a transfer efficiency above 65%, thus combining fast-working speed with the high profitablility of HVLP. It will be available in 4 nozzle sizes and with a plastic or aluminum cup featuring the Quick Change thread. Other features include stainless steel needle and fluid tip as well as self-adjusting packings. lt is suitable for all types of material, especially those with a large share of solid particles, such as HS clearcoat.
