Stephanie Rashewsky, International Student Representative
S
tephanie Rashewsky is in her third clinical year at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She was born and raised in Michigan and currently attends dental school in Boston, but throughout dental school, she has found her home away from home to be the Alpha Omega family. She is honored to be part of the Alpha Omega community and serve a second term as the 2009 International Student Representative along with Lani Kraus. Their
main goals for 2009 are to increase student membership and participation in Alpha Omega. They know that they are the future of Alpha Omega and they want Alpha Omega to be strong for the next century and beyond. During their term, they are looking forward to working with the student and alumni chapters, culminating with a large student and alumni turnout on the first ever Alpha Omega Cruise Convention. She hopes that all fraters feel the AO family love this year and become actively involved in this wonderful, warm dental community.
Lani Kraus, International Student Representative

ani Kraus is a 23-year-old student from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, she is currently in her third year of the DDS program at the University of Toronto. Lani has always loved being a voice for the student body and is the Social Representative for both her class and the student Pi chapter of Alpha Omega. In addition, she is currently co-directing and producing

the charity variety show at the University of Toronto, ‘‘Dentantics,’’ an annual tradition since 1921. The funds raised from this year’s show will be directed toward oral cancer research and the first ever ‘‘Walk for Oral Cancer’’ in Canada. Lani is extremely excited about her new role as International Student Representative and is looking forward to promoting student involvement in Alpha Omega at the global level. She is delighted to be an executive member of an organization as honorable and unique as Alpha Omega.
