Two summer schools will be held at the Institute for Fine Particles Research, Laurentian University, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, in 1971. June 14-18 Methods of Characterizing Powder and Particle Systems Emphasis will be on this topic, but there will also be air pollution seminars during the week, in the afternoon sessions, lead by Mr. John Stockham, Manager of Fine Particle Research, IIT Research Institute, Chicago. Au,fgst 2%27 Information Exchange Week Students will be free to follow a comprehensive laboratory pro _gramme and/or video-tape lectures in any area of fine particle science. There will also be many info-rmal discussion sessions, and one of the resource leaders will be Mr. Reg Davies, also of IIT Research Institute.
