New generation of desiccant dryers Walker Filtration, manufacturer of compressed air filtration and drying equipment, has released its next generation of PRODRY compressed air dryers. The new range extends the current one, covering flow rates from 45 scfm to 360 scfm. The larger flow models come with an option to upgrade to advanced dewpoint management for greater efficiency and a significant reduction in operational costs. Engineers at Walker Filtration have developed the new Prodry compressed air desiccant dryers
to cut service time in half, increase energy efficiency and reduce noise levels. In addition, the dryers have been tested and validated to international standards, so Prodry’s multi voltage capabilities allow for worldwide installation. Walker Filtration Ltd, which has its headquarters in Washington, Tyne and Wear in the UK, designs, develops and manufactures compressed air filtration and drying solutions for industrial and medical applications. Super absorbent fibre technology on show Technical Absorbents Limited (TAL) will exhibit its SAF (Super Absorbent Fibre) technology at Filtech in October 2016. TAL will demonstrate how its technology can be used to effectively remove water from a wide range of oils and fuels.
of high water levels in dissolved, dispersed and free water. The SAF-based filter media fabrics can remove both dispersed and free water to very low ppm levels which results in reduced
fuel and oil degradation, and provides the required filter quality for efficient machine operation. www.insafhands.com
TAL will be displaying its core SAF product range and also its converted nonwoven filter media fabrics. A team of product development specialists will be on-hand to demonstrate how the products work and provide advice if required. A significant reason for the majority of oil and fuel system failures is the presence
