Aseltine; and to the IFAC Theory Committee in the person of its chairman, Professor Truxal; to the Secretary, Mr. Monrad-Krohn; and to the chairman of the round table discussion, Professor Letov.
Ulanov We are now ending the last session and at the same time the symposium itself. Therefore, we co-chairmen would like to make some concluding remarks. These conclusions we feel will be common to the Soviet and American delegations, as well as the other delegations attending this symposium.
Holberg Before we finally close the last session of the First Symposium on Automatic Control in the Peaceful Uses in Space, the orgalllz1.ng committee would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this symposium: the Program Committee; the session chairmen; the authors and speakers, and all the participants. Special thanks are due to the American and Soviet delegations for bringing their interesting films. Also thanks are due to the translators for performing an excellent job under difficult conditions.

I hope that this will not be the last IFAC meeting on space programs, or on any other specialized topic covering theory, applications, and components under one meeting. Thank you all for coming to Norway and I hope that you meet again in the future.
We would like to express our utmost thanks to the National Norwegian Committee of IFAC and to its president, Mr. Rand; to the Norwegian Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and to its president, Mr. Holberg; to the organizing committee of this symposium in the person of Professor Balchen; the Program Committee in the person of Dr.
