CERAC Inc. Milwaukee

Ion Tech designs and manufactures ion beam systems, sources, electronics, and components, bringing its expertise to their Isoflux Cylindrical Magnetrons (ICM). Used to coat wires, fibers, and complex shapes, the KM offers high deposition rates, excellent target utilization, efficient material use, and relatively inexpensive targets. These :sputtering sources use cylindrical targets to surround the substratewith coating materials.

CERAC manufactures a comprehensive line of specialty inorganic chemicals, sputtering targets, and evaporation materials used in vacuum coating applications. Items ranging from fine powders to large pieces, as well as tablets, rods, crucibles, cones, lines, and sputtering targets are available. Standard items can be purchased from stock or custom materials manufactured to exact specifications.

Gauge

Vacuum Research Corp. Pittsburgh The VRC Wide-Range Vacuum Gauge uses a fast responsediaphragm sensor to provide high-accuracy measurementsthat are unaffected by gas composition from 2 to 1,500 Torr. At pressuresfrom 1 to 2,000 mTorr the easy-to-read digital display is driven by a rugged Pirani sensor. Both sensorsare mounted in a single transducer body and both are easily replaceable in the field. Typical applications include vacuum deposition systems, sputtering systems, and other pump down and backfill vacuum processes.
