Tenth International Conference on AIDS International Conference on STD 7-12 August 1994, Yokohama, Japan The Global Challenge of AIDS: Together[or the Future The O r g a n i z i n g C o m m i t t e e is chaired b y Professor Yuichi S h i o k a w a . We are planning 24 plenary sessions, 108 oral abstracts sessions and approximately 4,000 poster presentations. Round-tables, meet-the-experts, and other sessions will be included in the program. Topics and Categories: Track A: HIV and Lentiviruses, Conven tional STD Agents, Reverse Transcription and Integration, Gene Expression/Regulatory Gene Function, Virus Variability, Pathogenesis in Viro, Virus-specific Humoral Immunity, Virus-specific Cellular Immunity, Cytokines, Antivirals, Gene Therapy, Vaccines, Animal Models, HTLVs. Track B: Course of Infection and Disease, Opportunistic and Other Infections (Diagnosis, Therapy, and Prophylaxis), Oncology, Organ Systems, HIV Specific Therapies, Issues of Methodology and Quality Assurance, STD, Care and Other Topics. Track C: Geographic Distribution and Patterns of Spread of HIV, Other Retroviral Infections and STDs, Epidemiologic Studies; Transmission, Incidence, and Risk Factors of HIV/STDs, Methodologic Issues and Application of Models. Track D: Behavior and Behavior Change, Individual and Institutional Response, Societal Response, Education, Response of the Social Sciences, Care and Social Services for HIV/AIDS, Community Based Activities for HIV/AIDS.
