The 12th World IMACS Congress will be held in Paris from July 18 to July 22, 1988.
IMACS ~~ 1988 12th IHACS WORLD CONGRESS'88
Centered on the unifying theme of "scientific computation", the goal of the congress is to update the latest developments relating to numerical analysis and calculation, to modelling, to automation and process control, to the simulation and realization of specialized software and expert systems. Applications, relating to all the domains of science and industry will be presented : numerical analysis, biomedical engineering, process control, power electronics, chemical engineering, industrial manufacturing, environmental science, mechanical engineering, astronomy, pharmacology, civil engineering, etc...
This congress, comprised of nearly 1 500 specialists, will take place at the Lycee Louis-le-Grand and at the Sorbonne, in the heart of Paris and the Latin Quarter. More than 1 000 presentations will be delivered in the course of 200 sessions, occurring simultaneously in 15 conference rooms. At the same time, editors and producers of data processing materials or software will display their products.
