A t its la st m eetin g , the A m erican M e d ic a l A sso c ia tio n fille d th e en tire e x h ib it sectio n o f th e A tla n tic C ity C o n v e n tion H a ll. T h is w e fa ile d to do, b u t w e did exp an d and en la rg e o u r exh ib it sec tio n so th a t w e had o v er five tim es as m a n y exh ib its as in 1 9 3 6 . T h e r e is no reason th a t w e sh o u ld n o t, in the fu tu re, have as la rg e a scien tific and h ealth e x hib it section as th e A m e r ic a n M e d ic a l A sso cia tio n , since d e n tistr y len d s itse lf even b etter to v isu a l p resen tation than does m ed icin e. A l l th a t is necessary to im p rove the e x h ib it section for 1 9 3 8 is to arouse the in terest o f th ose w h o have m aterial to presen t so th a t th ey w ill c o n trib u te the large, b u t essen tia l, a m o u n t o f tim e, effort, stu d y and exp en se req uired to develop good m a ter ia l. T h e p r e se n ta tio n o f su p e rior e x h ib its is u n d e n ia b ly an e x c e lle n t w a y o f se r v in g and a d v a n cin g th e n a tio n a l o r g a n iza tio n and fu r th e r in g th e progress o f th e p rofession .
