Announcements The 2nd International Conference on Pelagic Biogeography (ICoPB) 10-14 July 1995, A m s t e r d a m , The N e t h e r l a n d s After several meetings of the SCOR W G 93 on Pelagic Biogeography it is a pleasure to organize the 2nd ICoPB in 1995 to discuss the new developments in the field of biogeography of plankton and nekton, its relations to climate, hydrography and history, and the results and recommendations of the W G 93. What are the goals for the future in relation to global change and biodiversity? The meeting is planned to be held in the neighbourhood of Amsterdam with facilities for the meetings and lodging. The congress language will be English. Proceedings will be produced after reviewing of papers. It is the intention to have a programme with lectures, poster sessions and working groups.
