The cover artist for this year The 2017 cover artist for The Lancet Infectious Diseases is Andrew Lyons, who replaces David Kerr. We thank David for his innovative covers throughout 2016 and we are happy that he will continue to work for The Lancet family. Andrew is a British artist living in Dijon,

France, affiliated to the Handsome Frank Agency. He studied painting at Cardiff School of Art before moving to France. His cool and distinctive style is influenced by a passion for Tintin comic books, early jazz music, and mid-century abstract painting.
