The effect of bandwidth limited amplification on soliton interaction (Optics Comm. 110 (1994) 465) I.M. Uzunov, M. Golles, L. Leine, F. Lederer
In Ref. [I], Section 4 on page 471 we write "To our best knowledge mutual interaction of more than two equal and equidistant separated solitons was studied first in Ref. [21] ." And in the next sentence we write "Lateron based on those findings, it was concluded [22] that .;.". After the publication of Ref. [I] , Dr. C. Desem informed us that the results in Ref. [22] are entirely based on his PhD. thesis entitled "Interaction of solitons in single mode optical fibers" by Can Desem , published and submitted to the University ofNSW, Kensington, NSW, Australia in March 1987. Therefore results published in Refs. [22] and [21 ] are results of independent research efforts. We thank Dr. C. Desem for providing us with information concerning the contents of his PhD thesis clarifying the above point. [I] I.M . Uzunov, M. Golles, L. Leine and F. Lederer, Optics Comm . 110 ( 1994) 465.
