The description of the four new effects in neutrino oscillations in matter and electromagnetic fields, that have been recently studied at the Moscow State University, is presented.

The thorough studies of the neutrino oscillations were launched by the pioneering paper of Bruno Pontecorvo . Indeed, it is surprising that after more than 45 years of researches in this field (for some of the most important papers see refs. [1]) it is still possible to discover new effects in neutrino oscillations. For a neutrino with non-zero magnetic moment (for the recent studies of the neutrino electromagnetic properties see [2]) we have developed the Loretz invariant approach to the neutrino spin oscillations and proposed the generalization of the Bargmann-Michel-Telegdi equation which enables us to consider oscillation in different external fields and moving matter [3]. The first new effect is the prediction of the neutrino spin oscillations in various electromagnetic field configurations including, for instance, the field of an electromagnetic wave. The second new effect is as follows: the neutrino spin procession and oscillations can be stimulated not only by the presence of electromagnetic fields, but also by weak interactions with the background matter. These neutrino spin oscillations always occurs in matter (even in the case of non-moving and unpolarized matter) if the initial neutrino state is not longitudinally polarized. Within the developed Lorentz invariant approach to the neutrino spin [3] and flavor [4] oscillations we have predicted the third effect: the matter motion can drastically change the neutrino oscillation pattern and, in particular, can significantly shift the neutrino spin and flavor oscillation resonance conditions, if compared with the case of non-moving matter. is the prediction [5] for the new mechanisms of the electromagnetic radiation by a neutrino moving in background matter and/or electromagnetic and gravitational fields. The new mechanism of electromagnetic radiation ( we have named this radiation ”spin light of neutrino” - SLν ) originates from the neutrino spin precession that can be produced whether by weak interactions with matter or by interactions with external electromagnetic fields or by interactions with gravitational fields of a rotating astrophysical objects.
