The Motile Non-sporulating Anaerobic Bods of the Oral Cavity. MacDonald, D.D.S., M.S., Ph.D. University pages with 13 illustrations ; Bibliography.
By John B. of Toronto Press, 1953. 95
The motile non-sporulating anaerobic rods of t.he oral cavity have been investigated by the author. He not only has undertaken to review the literature concerning this field, but also haa done much original investigation. The experimental pathogenicity is a valuable section in t.he text. The classification of the motile anaerobic rods as given by the author divides these non-sporulating gram-negative rods into three distinct groups. Nneteen strains were isolated. The reviewer feels that this is a valuable addition to dental research. Xore investigation along these lines is certainly needed in dentistry. HENRY M. GOLDMAN. 1247
