prominent pediatricians. He also congratulated the secretary of the branch for his devoted work and cooperation with all the rest of the Cuban fellows. DR. GOMEZ DEL RIO as member of the executive board of the Cuban Pediatric Society supported Dr. Hurtado %, proposition, stating that Dr. Frederick Schlntz had been eleeted honorary member some time ago after Professor Aballi's suggestion. DR. SOTO PRADERA presented Dr. Hurtado's proposition concerning the future eontinental meeting of the Academy, which would afford the opportunity of discussing the definite position of Region V on the executive board, as what has been eMled the Latin-American Division by Dr. tIurtado. This meeting would be held in the city of Chicago at the end of the war under the auspiees of the Ameriean Academy of Pediatrics.
