The Abraham Flexner Lectureship was established November 22, 1927, in the SchooI of Medicine of VanderbiIt University through the generosity of Mr. Bernard Flexner of New York City. The significant objective of the FIexner Lectureship was to contribute to the maintenance of those ideals and standards of schoIarship in medica education and research which wiI1 bring increasing honor to VanderbiIt University and Abraham Flexner.
