News The Powder Advisory Centre A new information scheme for powder technology has recently been established under the direction of A_ S. Goldberg, formerly fo the Liverpool Regional College of Technology_ The Powder Advisory Centre will be assisted by a number of well-known research workers in many countries and its aim will be to improve communications, both intemationalIy and between disciplines, in powder technology. The Centre is preparing to publish a regular bulletin entitled “Particulate Matter”. This will contain reports of recent conferences, news items, reviews and articles of interest. as well as a comprehensive abstracts section. It will be applieationsbiased and informal. The Centre will also organise lectures and conferences and hopes to sponsor an International Powder Technoloa and Bulk Solids Exhibition and Conference in England in 1971. Further details of the Centre’s aims and activities may be obtained from: A. S. GoIdberg, Powder Advisory Centre, 1, Eldon Square, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 7JG, England. Post-ex~cmce
