The Second International Congress of Neuroimmunology 8-11 September 1987, Adam's Mark Hotel, Philadelphia, PA, U.S.A.

The Congress, organized by the New York Academy of Sciences, will cover all aspects of fundamental and clinical neuroimmunology and will embrace cellular and molecular interactions between the immune and nervous systems, autoimmunity, immunotherapy and virus-host cell interactions. Prominent on the program will be plenary lectures on the latest developments in research on multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, AIDS, narcolepsy, polyneuritis and experimental models. Abstracts should be submitted for workshops on the following topics: Immunogenetics and Gene Regulation; T Cell and Immune System Product Localization in Target Tissue; Lymphocyte Lines and Disease; Antibodies and Complement in Autoimmunity; Neural Cell Markers in Health and Disease; Glia-Neuron Interactions; Cross-Recognition between Nervous and Immune System Antigens; - MHC Antigens on Nervous Tissue; Monoclonal Antibodies to AChR Epitopes; Immunotherapy and Autoimmune Diseases; - Monoclonal Antibody and Lymphokine Therapy; - Clinical Immunogenetics; - Neuroimmunology of AIDS and Slow Virus Infections; - Molecular Mimicry and Virus-Induced Demyelination; Neurimmunomodulation; Autoimmune Models of Demyelination. All accepted abstracts will be displayed as posters and some will be selected from each workshop category for platform presentation. Deadline for submission: April 15, 1987.
