ABSTRACT
While in the usual form of the selective sampling method a speed converter is required, we propose here a version, called blind sampling, which involves only time delays, gates and scalers. Apart from its simplicity, it also allows us to use shorter measuring times. An intermediate arrangement (one-eyed sampling), which shares the advantages of both the lucid and the blind versions, is also explained. A detailed description of the necessary electronic arrangements can be found in Rapport BIPM-85/14, and we plan to publish some recent developments in an appropriate journal.
