The Tenth International Symposium on Automation and Robotics in Construction ISARC
Houston, TX, USA, May 24-26, 1993
Purpose The purpose of the Symposium is to exchange information on the state of the art and future direction of construction automation. The motivation for construction automation will be re-examined in a series of opening day sessions involving panel discussions and talks by world-renowned researchers in construction automation to answer the following questions: Why automate?; Where are we now?; and, Where are we going? The remaining sessions will focus on two themes: (a) enabling technologies for construction automation and robotics, and (b) field applications and pertinent studies.
