TOXICOLOGY RESEARCH PROJECTS DIRECTORY A xEw quarterly publication is sponsored by the Toxicology Information Subcommittee of the Dept . of Health, Education and Welfare's Committee to Coordinate Toxicology and Related Programs and is drawn from the files of the Smithsonian Science Information Exchange . It provides abstracts of federally supported research projects in the area of toxicology . The first issue (Jan . 1976) provides over 300 pages of abstracts, over 300 pages of subject index and in addition an investigator index, performing organization index, supporting agency index and a master grant number index. It is of special interest to readers of Toxicon that Chapters 5 (47 pages of abstracts) is devoted to Biotoxins subdivided according to : A, Vascular plants ; B, Molds and Fungi ; C, Bacteria ; D, Animal Toxins-Exogenous ; E, Animal Toxins-Endogenous (Immunology) ; F, Other.
