News of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies

Dear Colleagues: As a tradition, prior to the European Congress of Neurosurgery being held in Brussels, Belgium on August 28 through September 2, 1983, business meetings of the various Federational Committees and the Administrative Council will take place. Please refer to the schedule published below. The Executive Committee will meet on Sunday morning, August 28, 1983. During Sunday afternoon, the opening ceremony of the European Congress will take place in Hall 10 of the Brussels International Conference Center. On this occasion your President will present the WFNS Medal of Honour. The European Congress, under the energetic leadership of Dr. Jean Brihaye, will present an interesting and varied program. Finally, on Saturday, September 3, there will be a joint meeting of the WFNS Committee on Neurotraumatology and the European and Pan-African Association. Your Secretary still hopes to receive the full information requested in past letters. With great expectations of seeing you one and all.
