Seco Warwick's low cost vacuum furnace.
Low cost vacuum furnace for European market A new Seco Warwick compact heat t r e a t m e n t vacuum furnace with a high overpressure (up to 1() bar) gas quenching s"ystem is now available for the European market. The furnace is built at Seco Warwick's plant in Swiebodzin, Poland. A reduction in p r o d u c t i o n costs has allowed the firm to offer the furnace at w h a t it says is a very competitive price. Appli-
cations for the furnace include sintering, hardening, tempering, annealing and degassing. It is a front loading design, capable of taking loads from 20)0 kg to 2500 kg. Top operating t e m p e r a t u r e is e i t h e r 1320~C or 165()uC d e p e n d i n g on the heater used.
