Systematics and distribution of 16 sipunculan species are presented; Phascolion canum, n.sp., is described. The collections come from six stations (1845-4825 m); six species are found only in the northern area b u t no strong n o r t h / s o u t h zoogeographical barrier is apparent and numerical analysis indicates a close faunal relationship among vertically similar stations within the gulf. 80:6022 de Ladurantaye, Rejean and Guy Lacroix, 1980. Repartition spatiale, cycle saisonnier et croissance de Mysis litoralis (Banner, 1948) (Mysidacea) dans un fjord subarctique. [Spatial distribution, seasonal cycle and growth of Mysis litoralis (Banner, 1948) in a subarctic fjord; Mysidacea.] Can. J. Zool., 58(5): 693-700. This 'isolated and practically unknown population' of M. litoralis in the Saguenay Fjord was monitored from April-October. In May the population becomes restricted to the lower fjord, inhabiting deeper (100-200 m), cold (<5°C) waters through June. From July-October, all ages are found primarily in warmer, shallower (up to 5 m) waters. Sexual maturity is attained by October, reproduction occurs in late October or early November, and the young emerge from the brood pouch in April-May. 80:6023 Ennis, G. P., 1980. Size-maturity relationships and related observations in Newfoundland populations of the lobster ( H o m a r u s americanus). Can. J. Fish. aquat. Sci., 37(6): 945-956. Ogives of maturity for female lobsters indicated 50% maturity at a carapace length ranging from 71-76 ram. Distinct inflections in the abdomen width/carapace length ratio vs. carapace length relationships in the female and crusher claw weight/whole weight ratio vs. carapace length relationships in the male were used to determine onset of maturity. Ovigerous females ranged from 2.6-30.4% of the total number of females with carapace longer than 71-76 m m (percentage and length depending on area and year). At commercial sizes (> 81 mm carapace), trap-caught males greatly outnumbered females; divers caught both sexes equally. Some molting, spawning and fertilization relationships are discussed. Five new records for the area were among the 14 species identified. Most abundant was Thalia c~car, followed by Weelia cylindrica, T. democratica and Salpa fusiformis; occurrence was correlated with areas of high primary productivity.
