Conference and Meetings Update Rotary seals in severe conditions start an interesting week
T
he programme for the 8th EDF-LMS Poitiers Workshop has now been published. The title of the event is ‘Dynamic Sealing in Severe Operating Conditions’. The organisers have received an interesting selection of papers for presentation. They include six on mechanical seals, three on turbomachinery sealing and two on rotary shaft lip seals. There also appears to be an interesting mix of practical and academic content. This event will form the start of a busy week as the organisers have allowed enough time for attendees to travel from Poitiers, France, to the International Conference on Fluid Sealing in Nottingham, UK.
