he Technical Rubber Products (TRP) business unit of speciality chemicals group Lanxess has concluded a trademark licence agreement for its HNBR rubber Therban with the industrial trading company Eriks, based in Alkmaar, The Netherlands. The global distributor of industrial components for sealing, hose, drive and joining technology will, in the future, use Therban grades from Lanxess for its hydrogenated rubber seals, which are manufactured according to its own specifications. Eriks says that by using this material it can ensure that its HNBR products have a uniform raw material and compound quality. To help its customers identify products correctly the industrial equipment supplier will use Lanxess’ Therban logo.
